America's Most Beloved Ballpark, Fenway Park, contains the finish line - home base - for the 2012 Run-Walk to Home Base presented by New Balance. On Sun. May, 20, Ray Fallon, owner of Fallon Moving and his Team Run for Freedom will compete in the 9K fundraising run.

Funds raised will go to the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program. The funds will be used to provide clinical care for veterans suffering from combat stress or traumatic brain injury. These injuries affect as many as 30% of troops returning from combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Families of veterans will also receive the guidance and support services needed during this difficult time in their loved one's life.

"Veterans have risked their lives for their families and millions of strangers in the U.S., including myself," Fallon said. "I want to make a positive impact in a veteran's life because they have given so much to all of us - protection and freedom. Now they need our help to receive the best in clinical care."
