Two weeks ago hurricane sandy ripped through the upper east coast of America. Many we left without places to go back to as well as many were left without food and water. Right after this disaster, many marathon runners were distraught that the race was cancelled the day prior. Many had flown in from all over the world to participate in this amazing sporting event held every October.

When the racers were notified that the race was cancelled, many we upset and rightfully so. They had spent thousands of dollars preparing and traveling to the site of this event. Some came from as far as New Zealand to compete in the Boston marathon. In the end, many of the runners banded together to aid in the relief effort for those affected by Superstorm Sandy.

Fallon moving has also aid those who were in trouble during the storm. Everyone on the east coast has banded together to provide each other with safe havens and supplies. Farmington Movers have been working together for many days on long missions to create areas of refuge. If you would like to get involved or donate, please go to www.RedCross.com. They will be able to steer you in the right direction for aid those who need it.
